5 Ways to Improve Your Cold-Brew Coffee

If you’re a coffee addict like me, you are always looking for ways to improve your favorite drink, or at least jazz it up a bit. If you’re an iced coffee drinker, the first thing you need to do on your quest for the most amazing coffee experience ever is switch to cold brew coffee— permanently. Just do it! Trust me on this one! Cold brew coffee is not just another hipster fad. It truly is a superior cup of coffee: smoother, less bitter, and bursting with flavor. 1. Coffee Ice Cubes

Who would have thought something this simple could make such a difference? Mix one part Cold Bruja concentrate and 2 parts water, pour it into an ice tray and let it freeze. Next time you drink coffee your coffee ice cubes won't dilute your coffee the way traditional ice does. Let these little frozen super heroes preserve the rich flavor of your summer cold-brew. 

 

2. Almond-Coconut Milk

This summer, treat your cold-brew coffee to some almond coconut milk. It is creamier and tastier than whole or skim milk. And best of all it’s better for you! Almond-Cocount milk is naturally sweet and creamy, and it will do a great job of substituting sugar and syrup in your coffee.

Of course, everyone needs a break from being healthy every once in a while. This is our go to office treat whenever the weekend feels so close yet so far away. Grab some ice cream, throw it into your cold-brew, and imagine yourself somewhere on the beach, far, far away from the cubicle. If you really want to treat yo’ self, sprinkle your drink with some caramel or chocolate, add some walnuts, take a deep breath, and smile.

Now this truly is a new take on coffee, and while you may be raising your eyebrows as you read this, have a little faith! Coffee Tonics are the best kept secret in the coffee world this summer. They will add freshness and bubbliness to your coffee and a much needed refreshment for your taste buds in this summer heat. Pour one and half part tonic over ice, add one part cold-brew concentrate, and give it a sip. 5. Coffee Breakfast Smoothie

If you are already drinking coffee in the morning, and you are already drinking breakfast smoothies, why not combine them into one simple yet delicious wake-up treat? For this recipe you will need a banana, a scoop of peanut butter, a cup of almond-coconut milk, and most importantly some cold-brew coffee. Throw all of these ingredients into a blender and you’ll have yourself a healthy breakfast that will not only satisfy your tummy but also activate your brain cells.
